Why Montreal and not any USA location?
The Montreal location benefits from incredible response times not only to multiple US locations - for example, New York 8ms, Chicago 20ms, Dallas 40ms, California 60ms - and most times even better than response times for US servers within US soil (!), but also has great times to multiple relevant international locations - for example, London 75ms, Mexico 75ms, São Paulo 110ms. Even Asia locations are better - ping is 25-33% less compared to Frankfurt, for example.
Is this a freer location or is it subject to US laws and rules?
The Montreal location ensures substantial freedom to our customers, because they are outside of some US-directed restrictions in a currently sensitive geopolitical context.
What payment methods are available?
We have crypto (through Payeer) and Stripe for regular credit/debit card payments. We also offer relevant payment methods for clients in Central and South America, like Pix for Brazil, Pago Fácil in Argentina and OXXO in Mexico. PayPal is also available, through Stripe, in most of Europe and North, Central and South America.
Are these VPS servers built with KVM? And are these instantly deployed?
Yes, they are always built on KVM technology. C-Servers does not sell VPS servers that are not KVM. These servers are also instantly deployed.
Why is this location more expensive than your other locations at C-Servers?
Our other locations have different, older processors and are 1 Gbps in speed, not 10 Gbps. Providing a more recent and higher-performance CPU for our customers and higher speeds from the very first package has extra costs for us, which naturally must reflect on the pricing we apply, so that it is sustainable.
