NETWORK STATUS - Times in WET
Most services are now operating correctly.
04/03, 23h40 - The issue is now completely fixed both at the upstream and at the dedicated server level. For some reason, our particular network card on this server has also shown, during testing, some contention issues that don't actually display on other servers. We've now adjusted the competent sysctl parameters and pings are now working correctly accross Europe, USA and Asia.
Zeta.8 Falkenstein is now working correctly.
03/03, 17h20 - Unplanned technical maintenance at Zeta.8 Falkenstein will have to start for testing and possible resolution on this issue, for a period of 45-60 minutes, starting somewhere on the next 4 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience. Compensations will not apply on this instance.
03/03, 15h49 - Intermittent, inconsistent, many times not volumous, location-specific and operator-specific issues with Zeta.8 in Falkenstein, regarding routing to several US and Middle East destinations with Arelion (AS1299) and from Hetzner's traffic handover, with packet loss which, 80% of the time, is below 10% - but on the remainder can actually surpass 10%. This has been getting investigated since mid-to-late February.
This is notified as a technical courtesy - it is not major, and entirely correlated strictly with Hetzner and Arelion's peering at Falkenstein, as the issue does not show in any of our other servers, including Helsinki. Zeta.8 Falkenstein is working correctly, on bare-metal, and with the configuration done at C-Servers' end. In any case, our apologies for the inconvenience.
