Where is swap?

Your MultiVPS plan (Nano, Central and ExtraVPS) and your MultiNAT plans have a certain swap allowance.

However, specific for Solus VM 2.0 and MultiVPS plans, swap is not automatically preconfigured in those operating system images (mostly due to the fact that SolusVM and/or the developers that provide those images don't preconfigure swap).

In order for your system to allow swap, you can simply use the regular Linux commands in order to add swap to your system.

Exclusive to NanoVPS plans (which have a smaller hard drive), if you run out of space after configuring your applications and activating swap at any given moment, you can request us via ticket to accomodate the extra space for swap in your current plan and increase the hard drive size in the predicted swap amount - for example, if you have 5GB or 10GB and allowed swap is 1GB, your hard drive space will change to 6GB and 11GB.

This is a manual migration process, which will happen in 12-48h maximum and is treated as a Level 2 special request.
