(MultiVPS) ما هي طرق الوصول عن بعد إلى VPS الخاص بي؟
There are several ways you can access your VPS:
- From the GUI, with VNC. For our MultiVPS customers, VirtFusion supports VNC access right from the VirtFusion's Control Panel (at C-Servers it's called VirtPortal), which you can access either directly at the Manage section on your VPS product » "Panel" button, or directly at https://virtportal.cfld.uk - you simply need to have at least a HTML5-supported browser (which nearly all of them currently support, possibly with the exception of... Internet Explorer). If you have already logged on previously, VNC is always available easily from the Manage section of your VPS product, on the "VNC" button.
- From the Web as a hybrid CLI/GUI solution, via Cockpit. It's as simple as logging in from the previous or the next solution and inserting "sudo apt install cockpit" (Debian/Ubuntu-based) or "dnf install cockpit" (RHEL-based). As of May 2nd, 2024, this solution is currently not available for BSD-based distros or Windows.
- Direct from the command-line, with SSH, via PuTTY. Simply download it to your computer, and access the server, inserting the current IP that was given to you and port 22 or, if you are attempting to use NAT IPv4, the public IPv4 and the outbound port provided on our VirtPortal (virtportal.cfld.uk), which you've already recieved on your e-mail. You'll be then requested to login as root and can proceed accordingly.
- Semi-direct from the command line, using the C-Servers Remote service (Legacy). For moments where your IPv4 NAT is occupied with some traffic, where your ISP does not allow direct communication on port 22, or you simply want to access/troubleshoot your VPS, C-Servers is carrying over the access to the C-Servers Remote service and continues to offer it on the VirtFusion VPS system. This is a SSH bastion service that allows an intermediate access, from which you can easily access via SSH CLI your VPS both over IPv4 or over IPv6, at remote.cfld.uk. It's truly a life savior for situations where you may be constricted on your access. To check how can you use the Remote service, click here.
