Is PayPal supported at C-Servers?

PayPal at C-Servers

PayPal payments are now supported, since June 6th 2025, at C-Servers, if accessed through Stripe.

In order to ensure and comply with the payment gateway's clearly assessed global risk policies and general tolerances regarding processed payments, and also following PayPal changes to their Terms and Conditions, C-Servers has had to introduce a number of terms and conditions for payments to be processed, which must be observed by prospective or current customers willing to pay through PayPal, and effectively mitigate multiple risks for the gateway provider and for us, as a merchant, through PayPal.

These are the following:

- PayPal payments, one-off or subscription, are available for purchases with a minimum of 10 GBP and maximum of 55 GBP. This effectively means that plans that are under or above this threshold are entirely unavailable for PayPal payments - most notably, the NanoVPS-320 Special, NanoVPS-512 and the high-tier DynamicVPS one-off plans, are outside of this spectrum and, as such, are not supported for payments with PayPal. The threshold is directed at long-term customers willing to pay through PayPal.

- These payments are available for citizens in 116 countries, instead of the existing 226 (per Stripe's countries count, which distinguishes islands as countries). PayPal is available without restrictions in most of Europe and the entirety of North America, Central America and South America.

In Europe, due to geopolitical instability, solely the following countries are not allowed through PayPal: Bielorussia, Russia and Turkey. In Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, there are also substantial restrictions in order to avoid high levels of risk for PayPal.

Under these regions, solely the following countries are allowed for PayPal payments:
Africa |
Angola, Cape Verde, Guine, Guine-Bissau, Morocco, Mozambique, Saint Tome and Principe, and South Africa;
Middle East |
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia;
Asia |
Japan;
Oceania |
Australia and New Zealand.

- Since C-Servers' offer and trades are primarily directed at virtual goods (shared online hosting, virtual servers, software, etc), especially for the supported price range, we are classified on PayPal as a seller of digital goods. As such, per PayPal's own policies, these purchases are entirely excluded of PayPal's Buyer Protection and will be usually unable to be refunded through a dispute.  Therefore, it is undesirable to file a dispute under these terms and the best approach will be for you to talk directly to us.

- For security reasons and as a commercial and technical decision by C-Servers, card payments processed through PayPal will have a different, lower risk tolerance level, compared to Stripe's direct payments. This means that some attempted card payments may fail through PayPal and succeed through Stripe or Payeer. PayPal may also be unavailable especially for payments through VPN; through cards issued from a different country than the originating country of the customer; through cards issued geographically too distant from the customer's country; or non-3D Secured payments, among others. The country of registration at our WebStore, the country where a customer is at any given moment, and the country of the issued card must be the exact same in order to ensure maximum success with these PayPal payments.

- Paypal "Family and Friends" option is not supported. Also, there will be no exceptions at C-Servers to the aforementioned rules, even if requested via ticket, as they are non-negotiable. We must entirely respect PayPal's policies and risk management.

---

The best rule of thumb to follow at C-Servers, therefore, will be this one: if you want to pay with PayPal, stick to the legal, civil side of things. We are always willing to help, and we'll find solutions for you, according to what is possible and we can do.

If, for some reason, you belong to a country that has PayPal payments unavailable, you can always pay our services with Stripe (general card payments) or Payeer (crypto/P2P payments).
