What is C-Servers' understanding of Dedicated in this offer?
In the new MultiVDS offer, the predicted resources are guaranteed. This means that the CPU allowance for a given virtual server is 100% of the allocated vCPUs, for example, and the same for RAM, disk, etc.
Are CPU vCores any different from the main VPS offer?
Contrary to some other providers, which provide VDS servers and then proceed to reduce administratively the CPU speed or give a dedicated virtual server lower priority, our vCores are exactly the same speed and capability as our main VPS offer. The VDS user does not also have any lower priority, or any other restriction whatsoever. It's a full virtual server.
Can I run into CPU issues if I use the vCores at 100%?
No. Performance restrictions predicted by our FUP in this field are not applied. What at most could occur is a small percentage of IOwait (0-5%), since these VDS services are executed from the same exact pool of dedicated servers that provide VPS servers; however, you will never have any CPU/RAM/Disk steal whatsoever and you will still be able to use your VDS as normal up to the allowed 100%.
I actually want to have a full physical core, RAM, disk speed and dedicated networking - exclusive and reserved to my VDS. Is it possible?
This will be part of the "MultiDedi Virtual Servers" lineup, to be lauched soon, where we entirely deploy a big dedicated server just for that offer only, and we reserve everything in a per-server basis. These will obviously be more expensive, but will still be a great alternative to our dedicated bare-metal server lineup, and everything will be 100% physically yours: full physical cores will be allocated; you will get dedicated RAM sticks reserved; NVMe disk speeds 100% guaranteed; and networking will be 100% exclusive, dedicated and guaranteed, with unlimited traffic, up to the available speed. Just like a bare-metal server.
Are these servers activated immediately?
Yes, in up to 60 seconds.
